For one afternoon, our normally very-much-not-for-kids haunted house becomes a completely different Halloween adventure built for families.

Your group is paired with a friendly monster guide and sent through the attraction on a hunt for Halloween candy. The house is reprogrammed for the afternoon so the experience feels playful, spooky and adventurous instead of like our normal high-intensity nighttime show.
Candy Hunt
Kids search for treats as they make their way through the haunt.
Modified Show
Different lighting, soundtrack and effects reshape the attraction for younger guests.
Adopt a Monster
At the end, kids get to choose a stuffed monster to bring home and adopt.

Yes — this event is specifically produced as a family experience.
Realm of Terror is normally an intense haunted attraction and the underlying sets can still include spooky or horror-themed imagery. Family Frights changes the presentation dramatically: friendlier characters, altered lighting, altered effects, a playful soundtrack, trick-or-treating and a guided format. Parents should still use their judgment for especially sensitive children.
This is not simply “the normal haunt with the lights on.” It is a different show.
